This busy
veterinary practice had undergone a complete
refit at the beginning of 2001, with new
equipment being installed in the operating
theatre, kennels and reception areas.
The only area
not to be refurbished at that time was the
general office, which has double aspect windows
so it gets the sun all afternoon. To compound
the problem the office also houses the computer
server and has three PC’s all generating heat.
Winnair
installed one FUJITSU “2 into 1” multi system,
comprising of two ceiling cassettes powered by
one external unit.
The heat loads
were calculated to take both the solar and
electrical gains into account and the selected
system provides the best distribution of treated
air throughout the whole office without giving
“cold spots”.
The complete
installation was completed in one day and it now
means that the administrative staff are kept as
cool as their patients.
